Dhole pack @ Bandipur Final part

After spending almost about half an hour with the pack we decided to move on. As our vehicle started to roll on we crossed the pack quite close to them.  A bunch of the dholes lying pretty close to the trail, came to attention and stared at us. At that instant, their coloring heightened by the light from the late afternoon sun, seemed ablaze.

I saw the pack again for another two days. I also got the chance to track them on foot and came pretty close to them. The pack also preyed upon a spotted deer during my stay and feasted on it. In about 30 minutes all that remained of the full grown spotted deer was only bones.
